做設計是不是藝術家？做舞台製作又是不是純粹的技術人員？

香港舞台技術及設計人員協會獲香港特別行政區政府「藝能發展資助計劃」的資助，將於 2022 年 7 月 16 至 24 日於西九文化區藝術公園自由空間舉行香港首個「科藝藝術節」(TAF2022)。藝術節將以本地科藝自主創作 (Technical-arts-initiated Performances) 為重點，以「模稜與並置」(Ambiguity & Juxtaposition) 為主題，製作多元化活動，包括科藝展演、幕後導賞、演後分享會、科藝創作展、專業講座及科藝工作坊。

同時藝術節亦邀請了跨媒體藝術家王志勇以他的多媒體作品作交流，藉此重塑香港舞台科藝的更多可能性，同時回應世界演出設計的發展趨勢。

Artist or Technician?

The Hong Kong Association of Theatre Technicians & Scenographers (HKATTS, [hey_cats]) will present Hong Kong's first "Technical Arts Festival (TAF2022)" from 16 to 24 July 2022 at the Freespace, Art Park, West Kowloon Cultural District.  The Festival is financially supported by the Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

The Festival will focus on local technical-arts-initiated performances, with the theme of "Ambiguity & Juxtaposition". There will be a variety of programmes, including showcases, exhibition, seminars, workshops, backstage tours and post talks.
