譚嘉儀 - Tam Ka Yee, Mandy

香港演藝學院學士,主修舞台及服裝設計; 香港中文大學文化研究碩士。於2007年香港代表之一參與布拉格舞台四年展,參展作品粵劇<西樓錯夢>. 此外曾三度獲香港戲劇協會頒發最佳舞台服裝設計獎。

2019西九戲曲中心開幕,任白慈善基金會製作演出<再世紅梅記>服裝設計。參與舞台服裝設計, 設計助理等的製作超過80個,涉獵範圍包括意大利歌劇,中國戲曲,話劇,音樂劇,形体劇場, 中國舞,芭蕾舞劇和電視劇。製作曾於香港,台灣,德國,美國,英國,加拿大,星加坡,北京,上海,廣州,深圳,澳門等地演出。

近年參與之本地製作包括鄧樹榮戲劇工作室<馬克白>, 香港舞團<紫玉成煙>, <哪吒>, <蘭陵入陣>; 香港話劇團<親愛的柳如是>, <天下第一樓>; 香港芭蕾舞團 <羅密歐與朱麗葉>, 香港中樂團<極>, 粵劇毛俊輝作品<百花亭贈劍>,<平貴,我在等你>, 西九戲曲中心開幕演出任白慈善基金會製作<再世紅梅記>,及西九戲曲中心小劇場製作 <霸王別姬>, 2019澳門文化中心毛俊輝導演作品<浮生記>. 在國內及海外參與葉錦添執行及助理服裝設計的製作包括葉錦添任導演及視覺總監的舞台劇, <傾城之戀>, 電視劇<那年開花月正圓>, 楊麗萍舞蹈作品<孔雀>及<春之祭>, 崑劇<長生殿>, 俄羅斯莫斯科歌劇院的<羅恩格林>.參與盧景文本地及海外歌劇製作,任服裝設計的超過10個,包括<波希米亞生涯>,<卡門>, <蝴蝶夫人>, <馬克白>, <弄臣>, <張保仔傳>等, 新加坡歌劇院製作<杜蘭朶公主>. 2008年獲亞洲文化協會頒發利希慎獎助學金,前住紐約進行一年的服裝文化探索及有關服裝保育之旅,更在紐約時裝技術學院的時裝及紡織博物館研究課程作旁聽生,學習有關收藏品管理,修復藏品,服裝歷史,裝置展示展品,收藏展品等課程。2019 到蘇州學習傳統戲曲服裝製作技術。

在參與展覽及教育工作方面, 2011服裝裝置藝術作品<旅>,參與第八屆世界紡織絞纈研究會展覽。2016應泰國國立法正大學邀請參與設計與藝術之研討會。2019獲香港藝術中心邀請到日本參與<2019瀨戶內海國際藝術祭>。

在2009至2018之間在香港知專設計學院,時裝及形象設計課程和香港演藝學院舞台及服裝設計課程任兼職講師。

現為表演服裝設計及教育自由工作人; 本屆藝術發展局審批員戲劇)。

Mandy Tam, Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the HKAPA, and a Master degree of Intercultural Studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Costume de-signed for more than eighty theatre productions in Hong Kong and oversea. During the 2007 Prague Quadrennial, I was part of the team representing Hong Kong with my work Cantonese Opera <Dream of the West Chamber>.

Costume designer for the Cantonese Opera <The Reincarnation of Red Plum> at the opening of the Xiqu Centre in 2019. I won the Best Costume Award from the Hong Kong Federation of Drama Societies in 2004 for The Peach Blossom Fan, 2015 Hedda Gabler and 2024 LiuRushi my Dear . Costume designed for more than eighty theatre productions in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Berlin, Canada, London, Macua, New York and Singapore. Experience in costume design encompasses Chinese and Western opera, dance, ballet, drama, musical , physical theatre and TV drama production in Mainland China. Costume design for the Cantonese Opera <The Reincarnation of Red Plum> at the opening of the Xiqu Centre in 2019.The productions I have participated productions in recent years include the Tang Shu-Wing Theatre Studio Drama <Macbeth> , HK Dance <The Legend of Laning> and <HEZHA : UNTOLD SOLITUDE>, HK Repertory Theatre Company <Top Restaurant> and <Liu Rushi, my dear>, HK Ballet Company <Romeo + Julilet>, HK Chinese Orchestra <Ji> - Interdisciplinary concerts, HK Arts Festival Company by Fredric Mao <Pavilion of a Hundred Flowers > Cantonese opera, West Kowloon Xiqu Centre Original Production Experimental Cantonese Opera <Farewell my Concubine>, oversea production included 2019 Macao Cultural Centre by Fredric Mao Drama <Dust to Dust>, The Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre <Journey to the west>. Deputy /Assistant Costume Designer of Tim Yip , Kun Opera <Place of Eternal Life>,
Drama in BJ <Love in a Fallen City>, Opera <Lohengrim> in Russia Bolshio Theatre, Dance < The Rite of Spring> in Kunming and<Nothing Gold Can Stay> TV Series in BJ. I Participated more then 10 Lo King Man Opera productions, included<La Boheme>, <Carmen>, <Macbeth>, <Madama Butterfly>, Singapore Lyric Opera<Turandot>.

About self development, In 2008, I went on a one-year study trip to New York funded by a scholarship from the Lee Hysan Foundation Fellowship of the Asian Cultural Council. To learn more about a systematic approach to costume conserva-tion, took classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology (MA in Fashion Textile Studies: Museum Practice combines the study of costume history , storage and ex-hibition of textile and costume materials) and fashion cultural research in NewYork. In 2018 Spring, I went to the costume shop in Suzhou for studying traditional Chinese Opera costume technology.

Exhibition and education career. In 2011, At the 8th International Shibori Sympo- sium (ISS), participated in the exhibition ‘Animal Fibers: Art informs Shibori’ with my work <Journey >. In 2016, I was invited as a guest speaker at the International Textile and Fashion Symposium by Thammasat University of Thailand. In 2019, create and develop installation and workshop in Japan Setonchi Triennale 2019, at the district of Shodoshima.

I was a part-time lecturer of the Hong Kong Design Institute, Department of Fash-ion and Image Design from 2009 to 2018. I am a freelancer in costume design and art education.
