由七十年代成長開始一直遊玩於音樂、電影、文字、藝術之間，八十年代開始獨立音樂製作之旅，九十年代加入商業電台，二千年成立廠牌89268推廣本地獨立製作，零七年離開工作十三年的廣播道成為音樂會監製，一六年成立wow and flutter希望將燈光焦點放在城市小暗角。二一年獲頒香港演藝學院舞台及製作藝術學院榮譽院士，同年開始著手建立創作團隊Ticket to Ride，積極培育及協助年輕音樂會監製和製作人開拓發展。

Hong has been wandering around music, movie, writing and art since 1970s. In the 1980s, he began his journey on independent music production. In the 1990s, he started to work in Commercial Radio HK. In the 2000s, he established the label 89268 to promote local independent production. After 13 years of work in CRHK, he began his career as a concert producer in 2007. In 2016, he established wow and flutter, hoping to focus on the small dark corners of the city. In 2021, he was awarded as Honorary Fellow of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (School of Theatre and Entertainment Arts). In the same year, he began to establish a creative team, Ticket to Ride, to actively cultivate and assist young concert producers and production member.
