胡皓嵐 Wu Hou Lam, Eagle

胡皓嵐為作曲家及跨媒體藝術家。作品涵蓋聲音裝置、聲音與影像作品、網絡互動作品以及器樂作品。尤其對建築與聲音，空間與時間的關係感興趣。胡氏畢業於柏林藝術大學修讀聲音研究及聲音藝術、香港大學建築系及香港演藝學院音樂學院，主修作曲。胡氏曾參與香港大學建築系「發聲建築」研究項目。

胡氏的器樂作品曾入選香港中樂團「心樂集」及「新韻傳音」，以及被亞青樂集演奏。其多聲道/環迴立體聲作品於美國藝術節「Burning Man, Black Rock City 2022」播出。其聲音裝置曾於台灣元智大學、柏林藝廊「Zwitschermaschine」、「Villa Kuriousium」以及「Collegium Hungaricum」展出。其網絡互動作品曾入選荷蘭當代音樂節Gaudeamus的網上聲音藝術展「Screen Dive」以及Sehsüchte國際學生影展。胡氏曾為德國史特加的劇院舞台製作「Picknick im Felde」擔任聲音設計以及天台製作的網上互動劇場「我唔係機械人」擔任聲音設計及聲音程式設計。胡氏最近獲選參與香港創樂團的Shape Songs策劃。

WU Hou Lam (Eagle or AQ) is a musician, composer and interdisciplinary artist. He is also a cellist, conductor and graphic designer. He graduated from the Universität der Künste Berlin, Master of Arts (Sound Studies and Sonic Arts), the University of Hong Kong in Architectural Studies, and the School of Music, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, major in Composition. His work encompasses sound installations, interactive web pieces, audiovisual compositions and compositions for acoustic instruments. He is particularly interested in how architecture, as a kind of spatial art, interacts with music/sound as a kind of temporal art, and was involved in the Research Project “Sounding Architecture” at the Department of Architecture, University of Hong Kong.

Wu’s instrumental pieces were performed by various ensembles, such as the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra and the Hong Kong CrossRoad Ensemble. Wu’s ambisonic/multichannel sound pieces were selected to be played at Burning Man, Black Rock City 2022. Wu’s interactive web pieces were selected for exhibition in the Sehsüchte International Student Film Festival and Gaudemus Screen Dive. His installations were also presented in Villa Kuriousium, Berlin, Zwitschermaschine, Berlin and Collegium Hungaricum Berlin. 

He was the Sound Designer in the Theatre Production <Picknick im Felde> directed by Paul Auls, a Akademie für Darstellende Kunst Baden-Württemberg Production in JOiN - “Junge Oper im Nord” - Die Staatstheater Stuttgart. He was also the Sound Designer and Programmer for the online interactive theatre <R. U. Human> by Inspire Workshop. He is recently selected to participate in the Shape Songs Project by the Hong Kong New Music Ensemble.
