Design Concept

“World After” originated in a theatrical play. The story started off by creating a virtual world where people can enter the data of a person into an algorithm, so the program could project a world of the after-death and predict the transmigration of souls. The evolving algorithm ended up showing virtual souls in the after-death world copying the same trick and projecting another after-death world. The set adapts layers of transparent mirrors to create a multi-shadow visual effect so actors can walk in and out between mirror, obfuscating audience the reality and virtual worlds.
